Last updated: 20 January 2026
1. General provisions
1.1. These Terms of Service apply to all legal relationships arising from the purchase of products via the online store JahiKala.ee (hereinafter βJahiKalaβ) between the customer and the owner of the online store JahiKala OΓ.
1.2. In addition to these terms, the legal relations arising from purchasing products via the JahiKala online store are governed by the laws and regulations in force in the Republic of Estonia.
1.3. JahiKala OΓ has the right to amend and supplement these terms and the price list in the interests of improving and ensuring safer use of the online store. Changes will be published on www.jahikala.ee. If the order was placed before a price change, the terms valid at the time of ordering apply.
1.4. A sales contract is considered concluded when the amount payable according to the order confirmation has been received in the JahiKala OΓ bank account.
2. Order cancellation and right of withdrawal
2.1. The customer may cancel an order after payment but before delivery by sending a cancellation request to epood@jahikala.ee, including the order number and bank account details.
2.2. After receiving the products, the customer has 14 days to review them. If the purchased item is not suitable, the customer may return it or exchange it for another product within 14 days by sending a relevant notice to epood@jahikala.ee together with the order number.
2.3. In case of cancellation (Clause 2.1) or withdrawal (Clause 2.2), the paid purchase amount will be refunded. The customer bears the costs related to returning the product to the warehouse. Processing return requests may take up to 30 days, however the refund will be made within the time limits prescribed by law.
2.4. Returned goods must be unused, in original packaging and complete, including all items originally included in the package. If the product was purchased as part of a campaign together with additional items, all products including the additional items must be returned.
2.5. If the returned product or packaging is damaged due to improper use and the damage was not caused by JahiKala OΓ, the seller has the right to reduce the refundable amount in proportion to the decrease in value. The set-off information will be sent to the customer by email. If the customer disagrees with the assessment, an independent expert may be involved. Expert costs are shared equally, except where one partyβs position proves clearly unfounded. The refund may be reduced by up to 30% if the product/packaging is not in original, complete and resalable condition.
2.6. The customer may handle and test the product only in the same way as would be possible in a physical store. If the product has been used more than necessary for checking it, the refund may be reduced according to the decrease in value.
3. Product exchange
3.1. If the product is not suitable, it may be exchanged for another product provided that the desired product is in stock. All costs related to the exchange are borne by the customer.
4. Liability and force majeure
4.1. JahiKala OΓ and the customer are liable to each other for damage caused by breach of these terms in cases and to the extent prescribed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia.
4.2. JahiKala OΓ is not liable for damage arising from circumstances beyond its control (force majeure), including natural disasters, strikes, transport delays or other unforeseen obstacles.
5. Processing of personal data
5.1. JahiKala processes all personal data provided by the customer confidentially and uses it only for order fulfilment and customer service purposes. Where necessary, personal data may be shared with logistics partners to organise delivery.
5.2. JahiKala OΓ applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent loss, misuse or alteration of personal information. Encrypted data exchange with banks ensures the security of personal data and payment details.
6. Dispute resolution
6.1. Any disputes will be resolved through negotiations. If an agreement is not reached, the customer has the right to contact the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (TTJA).
6.2. JahiKala OΓ follows the laws of the Republic of Estonia in dispute resolution.
7. Payment
7.1. The customer can choose from multiple payment methods, including bank transfers (Swedbank, SEB, LHV), credit cards, PayPal and Apple Pay. Payments are processed in a secure environment and data is transmitted in encrypted form. After payment, an email confirmation is sent to the customer.
8. Shipping and delivery
8.1. Delivery costs are calculated according to the selected delivery method and are displayed at checkout and on the invoice. If the order needs to be shipped to multiple addresses, a separate order must be placed for each address.
8.2. JahiKala OΓ reserves the right to adjust shipping prices and prices in the online store without prior notice.
8.3. Delivery within Estonia typically takes 1β3 business days, depending on order handling and destination. Products ordered from a supplier/central warehouse may take longer (up to 3β15 business days). Delivery is carried out via Omniva, DPD and SmartPost parcel lockers and courier service. For oversized or heavier goods, additional costs may apply and the customer will be informed separately.
8.4. If free shipping eligibility is lost due to a partial return, the seller has the right to deduct the original shipping cost from the refundable amount.
9. Warranty and claims
9.1. JahiKala OΓ sells products covered by a manufacturerβs warranty according to the manufacturerβs terms. Typically, the warranty period is 1 year from the purchase date and covers defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, accidents or improper use.
9.2. Warranty applies to manufacturing defects or material defects under normal use. For example, fishing rods and reels are typically covered for 1 year from the purchase date when a valid proof of purchase is provided. Repair/replacement costs, including shipping, are borne by the customer if the case is not considered a warranty case.
9.3. Warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse (e.g., snagging, excessive force, incorrect handling). Products used for unintended purposes or under aggressive methods are not covered.
9.4. To submit a warranty claim, please email epood@jahikala.ee and include a copy of the proof of purchase. The defective product must be returned in suitable packaging to prevent additional damage during transport. JahiKala OΓ will repair or replace the product as needed.
9.5. For certain higher-priced products (e.g., more complex fishing equipment or hunting gear), an extended warranty of up to 2 or 3 years may apply. Warranty details and periods are stated on the product page.
