Jerkid features a streamlined body shape and concentrated weight distribution, which, combined with the lack of a lip, allows for exceptionally long and accurate casts.

Because it is very easy to give it an attractive action for pike, it can be worked in several ways:

1. Standard steady retrieve with occasional speed changes, during which the jerkbait moves rhythmically in a snake-like motion.
2. Pulls of varying length and intensity combined with pauses, during which the bait additionally performs a subtle wobbling action.
3. Classic jerking: light, short, rhythmic twitches – the Jerkid can be worked almost “in place,” intensely provoking even hesitant predators into aggressive strikes for an extended period.

No specialized equipment is required for fishing with the Jerkid. A spinning or casting setup with a rod rated up to 35–40 g is fully sufficient.

Select Jerkid is available in one universal size – 10 cm – and in two sinking versions:

1. SS – slow sinking, weighing 35 g, ideal for fishing spots 1.5–2 m deep. When retrieved with the rod tip held high, this version can also be worked just below the surface, making it effective in very shallow areas.
2. S – sinking, weighing 37 g. Ideal for fishing depths up to 3.5 m.
