FAVORITE Arena Vivid ARNV-BR632SUL is a 1.9 m spinning rod in which length, casting range and action are balanced for a specific style of fishing. Favorite describes Arena Vivid as a short, soft and more parabolic area-trout rod. Its Skyflex 24T carbon blank loads smoothly with tiny lures and cushions sudden runs when light line is used. The 1.9 m length provides good manoeuvrability and lure control, making the rod useful from both boat and bank. The 1–4 g casting range is the recommended total lure or rig weight. Inside this range the blank loads correctly, retains sensitivity and gives better lure control; the upper limit should not be exceeded. Moderate-slow action bends deeply and progressively. It loads well with light lures, protects small hooks and cushions the sudden runs of trout and other active fish. The recommended 2–4 lb line rating describes the appropriate line-strength class, not the weight of fish the rod can land. Correct line helps preserve sensitivity and protects an ultralight blank from overload. This model is best suited to trout, chub and perch with small spoons, spinners and wobblers.
