FAVORITE Skyline Casting SKYC-862M is a 2.58 m baitcasting rod selected for a defined fishing style and load range. The Skyline range is designed for long, controlled casts from shore or boat. Earlier-generation models used high-modulus carbon blanks and Fuji Alconite guides to combine sensitivity with a strong power reserve. The 2.58 m length provides longer casts and improved line control from shore or on larger water. The 8–21 g casting range is the recommended total lure or rig weight. Inside this range the blank loads correctly, retains sensitivity and gives better lure control; the upper limit should not be exceeded. Extra-fast action means most of the bend is concentrated in the tip section. It provides crisp bottom contact, precise lure control and rapid hooksets, but rewards careful drag and line setup. This model is best suited to versatile zander and pike fishing with jigs, wobblers and metal lures. A baitcasting rod is intended for a low-profile or round baitcasting reel; a spinning reel is not compatible with its trigger reel seat and guide layout.Share this product
