FAVORITE U1 632H is a 1.9 m spinning rod whose specifications clearly define its most suitable use. Favorite U1 rods use Skyflex 24T carbon blanks and guides with TiO2 inserts. The manufacturer emphasises a stiff, fast and practical design aimed primarily at soft plastics and jig heads. The 1.9 m length provides good manoeuvrability and lure control, making the rod useful from both boat and bank. The 10–32 g casting range is the recommended total lure or rig weight. Inside this range the blank loads correctly, retains sensitivity and gives better lure control; the upper limit should not be exceeded. Fast action works mainly through the upper third of the rod. It is a strong compromise between sensitivity, hook-setting speed and fish control, suiting many active lure techniques. This model is best suited to versatile zander and pike fishing with jigs, wobblers and metal lures.
