FAVORITE Arena ARN1-602XUL-S is a 1.8 m spinning rod whose specifications clearly define its most suitable use. Favorite Arena is a specialised trout and ultralight range with slim Skyflex 30T blanks and lightweight ZrO2 guides, designed for accurate presentation and control of small lures. The 1.8 m length provides compact, precise handling from a boat, tight bank or during active lure work. The 0.5–3 g casting range is the recommended total lure or rig weight. Inside this range the blank loads correctly, retains sensitivity and gives better lure control; the upper limit should not be exceeded. Fast action works mainly through the upper third of the rod. It is a strong compromise between sensitivity, hook-setting speed and fish control, suiting many active lure techniques. The solid carbon tip is highly sensitive and visibly registers light bites, making it especially useful for finesse jig rigs and controlled near-bottom fishing. The recommended 2–4 lb line rating describes the appropriate line-strength class, not the weight of fish the rod can land. Correct line helps preserve sensitivity and protects an ultralight blank from overload. This model is best suited to trout, chub and perch with small spoons, spinners and wobblers.
