FAVORITE Arena ARN1-672UL-T is a 2.01 m spinning rod selected for a defined fishing style and load range. Favorite Arena is a specialised trout and ultralight range with slim Skyflex 30T blanks and lightweight ZrO2 guides, designed for accurate presentation and control of small lures. The 2.01 m length provides good manoeuvrability and lure control, making the rod useful from both boat and bank. The 1.5–4.5 g casting range is the recommended total lure or rig weight. Inside this range the blank loads correctly, retains sensitivity and gives better lure control; the upper limit should not be exceeded. Fast action works mainly through the upper third of the rod. It is a strong compromise between sensitivity, hook-setting speed and fish control, suiting many active lure techniques. The tubular tip recovers quickly and handles a wider range of lure types, balancing sensitivity, casting performance and versatility. The recommended 2.5–5 lb line rating describes the appropriate line-strength class, not the weight of fish the rod can land. Correct line helps preserve sensitivity and protects an ultralight blank from overload. This model is best suited to trout, chub and perch with small spoons, spinners and wobblers.
