FAVORITE Blue Bird BB2-602XUL-S is a 1.83 m spinning rod selected for a defined fishing style and load range. Favorite describes Blue Bird as an affordable, professionally oriented micro-jig and light-jig range. Skyflex 30T blanks, anti-tangle KR-layout guides and model-specific solid or tubular tips support sensitive bottom contact. The 1.83 m length provides compact, precise handling from a boat, tight bank or during active lure work. The 0.5–3 g casting range is the recommended total lure or rig weight. Inside this range the blank loads correctly, retains sensitivity and gives better lure control; the upper limit should not be exceeded. Fast action works mainly through the upper third of the rod. It is a strong compromise between sensitivity, hook-setting speed and fish control, suiting many active lure techniques. The solid carbon tip is highly sensitive and visibly registers light bites, making it especially useful for finesse jig rigs and controlled near-bottom fishing. This model is best suited to ultralight and micro-jig fishing with small soft plastics, spoons and wobblers.
