SELECT Zander ZND-702M is a 2.13 m spinning rod with a casting weight of 6–24 g for zander, big perch and pike fishing. The model is designed for jig fishing with soft lures and, in addition to a stiffer blank, uses a carbon solid tip, which allows you to control small lures more delicately.
The rod’s design is also suitable for fishing with a dropshot rig, where a relatively heavy sinker is used to present a small bait. The solid tip helps to impart action to the lure, while the stronger blank supports hook-setting and playing the fish. This is useful in situations where you fish with a small lure but must be prepared for a larger fish.
In addition to soft lures, you can also use medium-sized spoons and spinners within the rod’s casting range. The stronger lower section helps to change the fish’s direction while fighting it, for example near vegetation or sunken branches. When jig fishing, take into account the total weight of the lure, hook and sinker.
