Product details
SHIMANO Poison Adrena Casting 172H is a 2.18 m baitcasting rod selected for a defined fishing style and load range. Poison Adrena is Shimano’s high-end JDM range, using advanced carbon construction and a Carbon Monocoque grip to deliver very low weight, rapid response and strong vibration transmission. The 2.18 m length provides good manoeuvrability and lure control, making the rod useful from both boat and bank. The 12–42 g casting range is the recommended total lure or rig weight. Inside this range the blank loads correctly, retains sensitivity and gives better lure control; the upper limit should not be exceeded. Two-piece construction is a strong compromise between natural rod action and manageable transport length. This model is best suited to heavier jigging, larger hardbaits and powerful pike or zander fishing. A baitcasting rod is intended for a low-profile or round baitcasting reel; a spinning reel is not compatible with its trigger reel seat and guide layout.Share this product
