Product details

The Akara Revol CAR-5L is a left-hand-retrieve winter multiplier reel for vertical ice fishing. It is well suited to medium and larger balance lures or vertical spoons when the lure must be lowered repeatedly and retrieved efficiently from depth. A 3.5:1 gear ratio means the spool rotates 3.5 times for each handle turn, maintaining a faster fishing rhythm in deeper water than a simple direct-drive ice reel. The 4+1 bearing system supports smooth retrieval, while the 0.30 mm / 100 m line capacity provides a useful reserve for deeper fishing. The open spool allows the angler to monitor line lay; because there is no automatic level-wind, the line should be guided evenly with a finger. At 156 g, the reel balances a stronger ice rod and can be used for perch, zander or pike when matched with suitable line, lure and rod. Specifications: left-hand retrieve; 4+1 bearings; gear ratio 3.5:1; weight 156 g; line capacity 0.30 mm / 100 m.
