Fanatik "Chupa-Chups" sinker (Tokyo Rig) is not just a sinker – it’s virtually a ready-to-use rig for soft plastic lures. The Tokyo Rig is something between a "ballerina" rig and a jig-rig. The Tokyo Rig (also known as the VMC Tokyo Rig) is a Japanese invention designed for predator fishing. It’s not yet widely adopted among our local anglers. The setup is easy to assemble and, as shown by Yuriy Petrash’s experience, highly effective for catching pike and perch. Advantages of the Fanatik Tokyo Rig – "Chupa-Chups": The lure stays parallel to the bottom, instead of pointing downward. When dragging along the bottom, the soft bait stays elevated, making it more visible to fish. In slight current, this rig gives the bait a lifelike action near the bottom. Since the weight is positioned away from the bait, it doesn’t interfere with the predator’s strike. You can use almost any soft lure: worms, twisters, craws, or weird creature baits.Share this product
