The BTF D310-100 is a simple and dependable ice reel for vertical fishing. Its 100 mm spool affects both line capacity and the amount of line retrieved per turn: a larger spool retrieves the rig from depth faster and bends the line in a wider radius, reducing tight coils. The 2BB bearing system reduces spool friction and makes line payout and retrieval smoother. The large spool holds plenty of line, reduces tight line memory and retrieves more line per turn. This makes the reel particularly useful in deeper water, with larger vertical spoons or balance lures and on a stronger rod setup, for example when targeting zander or pike. A three-position LEFT–FREE–RIGHT selector allows the spool direction or free-spool mode to be chosen; free spool sends the lure down quickly, while a directional setting helps keep the spool under control.
